TARZAN FINDS A SON Original Long Daybill Movie poster Johnny Weissmuller
VINTAGE and VERY RARE Original Australian hand litho long daybill approximately 15″ x 40″, linen backed, fair – good condition (see enlarged photo). The poster has brown tape on the back borders and this has bled through to the front. It is otherwise intact and would display well after linen backing.
“Long” daybills were produced in Australia until 1941 when they were replaced by the more familiar smaller format.

Tarzan Finds a Son! is a 1939 Tarzan film based on the character created by Edgar Rice Burroughs. It was the fourth in the MGM Tarzan series to feature Johnny Weissmuller as the “King of the Apes” and the fourth of six films in which he stars with Maureen O’Sullivan as Jane; following this pairing was Tarzan’s Secret Treasure and Tarzan’s New York Adventure.
