Original Australian hand litho long daybill approximately 15" x 40" , folded as issued, fair – good condition, edge wear with edge tears and chips, a six inch tear through the image area which extends through Harry Carey's face repaired with archival tape on the back. Other tears are reinforced on the back with archival tape and a couple of pieces of white paper (see enlarged photo). Despite the defects, the poster displays very well as is and could easily be linen backed.
"Long" daybills were produced in Australia until 1941 when they were replaced by the more familiar smaller format.
