VERY RARE Original Italian 4 Foglio poster dated 1948 for the first release of the film in Italy approx 50" x 80", in two pieces very good condition, foldline tears pinholes, in the borders some tears on foldlines in the image area but all intact. The poster would benefit from linen backing but Italian posters of this size are normally always fragile and this has survived in without too much damage.

This film was an important record of an Australian classic Aviation film depicting the life of Charles Kingsford Smith and his exploits in the Southern Cross.

This is a truly magnificent poster, by far the best artwork available for this title but, sadly, exceptionally rare.
